Positano is said to be one of the most pretty and picturesque places in Italy - and indeed, while the place is a dream of a town, I think each small village along the Amalfi coast has its own charm in a way. I went to Positano off-season (like I usually do) and there were no tourists - except maybe 40 or so Chinese tourists that roamed the streets. These were also the guys that left the writing in the sand, hehe. Do you know what it says? -Phillip
In Eindhoven, there's a hotel that was once a church. What you see here is the hotel part, and if you pass through the doors on the right you'll reach the church part they use for shows and so on. However, the real deal was the carpet you can see on the lower right. This illusion is so well done, I had to stand on it to believe that it's just a print on the carpet. I wonder if the thinking behind it is "How can we make it so that when people get up from the sofa, we want them to feel like they'll fall if not careful?" - "I don't know, but hold my beer". -Phill
We spend a day in the arches national park in Utah - this image was taken just on the way home. It was already super dark and I didn't actually see anything when taking the photo. Well, I saw the faint red line in the back that was the sunset, but no mountains or ground! The way you do it, I put the tripod down and just fired away. Just like the professionals do it! -Phillip
