... Or temple, rather. Once one climbs the 1000 steps to reach Yamadera temple, this is the gate that signifies the victory and marks the entry to the actual temple. There are hundreds of statues before that, but this is the main deal. I really loved all the detail on the wood and the signs that time left on it! -Phillip
This place is called Torr Head in Ireland - to get to this place, you have to walk a fantastic path to the top of a little hill, where an old abandoned building sits like a forgotten outpost. Once up there, this beautiful view opens up in front of you - the stairs lead all the way down to the water, ending in nothing. Together with the known Irish landscape (mainly grass), the stairs made an awesome shot right there. -Phillip
This image is from the south of Ireland, a place called the ring of Dingle – an area that I regularly travel to for some days because the landscape is just so0 much different from the Dublin area. We do not really have mountains, just some hills, and the south is full of awesome landscape. For this image in particular, I didn’t actually have to do much. I arrived at a small beach just off the road and found the stones stapled in this way – minus two stones, that is. I spend about 10 min trying to balance more stones on it, but there was no way, haha. Once I was done, I thought right away on an old style picture.
