Nature and Landscapes
Urban and City
This image was taken the first time I visited New York at the end of last year. While I spent my days walking around 20 km each day, I did take my time at certain points to relax for some hours and take in the views. This was one of them :)
Just across the Brooklyn Bridge, I found this wonderful peer that offered great views towards the sunset. It was super hardcore freezing, but the things we photographers to for our passion... you know how it is.
Its a stage! I have no idea what kind of performances are happening here, but I wish I would have seen one.
The whole place is called the Yasaka Shrine, which, to be fair, was a completely random find. After a while we stopped trying to move from temple to temple (there are simply so many in Japan) - but you cant stop finding them if you want it or not.
Who would have thought that I can get a shot like this in London! Whenever I am there, the weather is really bad, but this ONE time, things just turned out fine.
