Shibuya Crossing - one of the busiest crossings in the world in Tokyo, Japan. There is a great viewpoint that has opened recently from which you can see the whole crossing perfectly. Fun-fact - I crossed this junction around 80 times over the course of 2 days. Night pictures, people photography, videography, you name it - the junction is perfect for it! This shot here was staged with a friend of mine that stopped dead in the middle of the road. People weren't too happy, but it made for a great photo. Phillip
Portugals Douro Valley is a dream of a landscape! Small lakes, hills, vineyards... and with a surprisingly high frequency, some restaurants. Here, they served wine right from the valley - which just makes sense if the stuff grows right down the road, hehe. We enjoyed a great wine tasting with 4 different types of portwine - and then were driven back into the city. -Phillip
This is the famous Yasaka Pagoda (part of the Hōkanji Temple) in Kyoto, Japan - and obviously the street leading up to it. The spot at which I took this photo is rather famous by itself - so as with so many spots, there was a group of around 10 photographers (+tripods) fighting for the best angle. Now, you cant stay behind them as you wouldn't see anything, but you can also not stand in front of them or you will likely be killed. Logically, I shoved by tripod amongst theirs, took the shot and moved on. As a result, there are 10 people that will have the more or less same picture taken within 20-30 seconds apart. Unique, right? -Phill
